Challenge

In December 2023, NuTrail, a no sugar added granola company, wanted to explore always-on campaign strategies that could help increase sales at Walmart across key food categories.

Solution

The advertiser worked with partner agency AdAdvance to run Sponsored Products ads, beginning with a small investment and a test-and-learn approach, and then optimizing along the way to improve performance.

The strategy helped build brand equity for NuTrail with Walmart customers, focusing on Manual campaigns to target Search In-grid placement and top category keywords like "granola". This approach helped to increase ranking and share in the granola category from nearly non-existent to category owner.

As a result, the NuTrail team decided to increase its daily spend by 5x.
