Challenge

Perdue Farms, a leading brand known for its fresh, frozen, and fully cooked poultry products, wanted to strengthen their position in a competitive category. After seeing strong results with Sponsored Search, the brand took the opportunity to expand into upper- and mid-funnel tactics. These tactics helped drive new-to-brand growth, reach new customers, and scale its advertising efforts efficiently.

Solution

To help reach these goals, Perdue Farms worked with Pacvue, a Premium+ Tech Partner in the Walmart Connect Partner Network, to help enhance their foundational Sponsored Search strategy and introduce an Onsite Display campaign.

By combining Walmart Connect’s advertising solutions with Pacvue’s propriety automation and optimization tools and technology, Perdue was able to deliver a campaign strategy that helped unlock new opportunities for brand discovery and enabled Perdue Farms to drive sales.

Strategy

Perdue Farms and Pacvue focused on expanding into additional advertising solutions while continuing to build on the strong performance and results the brand had achieved through Sponsored Search. Working with Pacvue and Walmart Connect, the brand adopted a test-and-scale approach, gradually increasing Sponsored Search investment through automation and pacing controls, and introduced Onsite Display to help reach new audiences and drive upper- and mid-funnel growth. Sponsored Search helped fuel conversions and efficiency with smart bidding and category-level optimizations, and Onsite Display helped build awareness and attract new-to-brand customers. 

Additionally, Pacvue’s automation tools and insights from Walmart Connect’s data helped enable real-time adjustments, optimized budget allocation, and identified high-performing items and categories. This collaborative, data-driven approach not only improved new-to-brand performance and drove sales, but also established full-funnel activations as a key driver of long-term growth for the brand.
