Celsius sought to build awareness of its functional beverages among Walmart customers. As a disrupter in the energy drink category, the goal was to expand reach, cultivate long-term loyalty and test CTV with Walmart Connect for the first time. 

Solution

Celsius leveraged Walmart first-party data within VIZIO’s CTV inventory to connect with Walmart customers shopping the energy drink category. 

Strategy and tactics

Using iSpot incremental reach to validate unduplicated CTV exposure alongside Walmart closed-loop measurement, the campaign helped advertisers gain visibility into both reach and sales impact. This positioned Celsius to boost awareness while driving sales at Walmart.
