In September, we announced a number of enhancements to our self-serve offering for Marketplace sellers. Just in time for holiday campaigns, Walmart Connect has enhanced our Search advertising platform and offerings to make it easier to advertise with us and give more advertisers access to one of our premium placements. Today, we are excited to share the rebrand of Walmart Search Advertising, Marketplace seller access to Sponsored Brands and Walmart Ad Center enhancements.
Search Advertising becomes Walmart Sponsored Search: We’ve rebranded Search Brand Amplifier - our top-of-the-page ad placement with the highest search-page viewability - to Sponsored Brands. This is part of a larger rebranding of Walmart Search Advertising to Sponsored Search, intended to open opportunities for future products and create a clear connection among product sets.
Sponsored Brands for all demand channels: Sponsored Brands is now available to self-serve suppliers and eligible Marketplace brand owners who are registered with Walmart’s Brand Portal. Sellers can access their own Sponsored Brands campaigns through our self-serve platform, Walmart Ad Center, or through one of our platform partners. We’re thrilled to expand access to a much larger, more diverse set of large and small businesses to help them accelerate sales in time for the holidays.
Walmart Ad Center enhancements: We are constantly evolving our self-serve platform to make it more intuitive and easier for advertisers to use and achieve their goals. We’ve enhanced Walmart Ad Center so advertisers can improve brand visibility and inspire product discovery. For example, we’ve simplified navigation and added step-by-step guidance to help make launch Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands campaigns a breeze – even for first-time advertisers.
